Overview

Our client from Belgium wanted us to build a mobile app for BlackBerry that will allow mobile user to capture/record business expenses receipt in mobile apps. Also, user should be able to scan and digitize business card and credit card statement for future user and share with another person. User should have option to access uploaded receipt from mobile as well as website with option to edit/complete it. Client also wanted to develop app using cross platform Framework like Xamarin.

Developed OCR scanning algorithm - Our scanning process is a combination of different OCR methods as one simple OCR solution doesn't do the job. We created different kinds of systems in place, like a self-learning scanning module with Artificial Intelligence, systems based on indicators (‘total' or ‘amount') and also a system based on merchant recognition which initiates certain templates linked to that merchant.
